How to Use Priyion to Analyze Polymarket

Priyion is a research and analytics layer for Polymarket. It scans live market data, analyzes order books, tracks whale wallets, and scores risk — giving you the information edge that raw Polymarket doesn't surface.

What Priyion Does

Polymarket shows you prices and a basic order book. Priyion goes deeper — pulling data from multiple API layers (Gamma, CLOB, and Data APIs) to compute metrics that aren't visible on the Polymarket interface:

  • Liquidity grading — How deep is the order book? Can you fill your order without moving the price?
  • Risk scoring — A composite score (0–100) based on spread, volatility, time to resolution, holder concentration, and data freshness.
  • Wallet signals — What are the biggest, most profitable wallets doing in this market?
  • Price momentum — Is the price trending, choppy, or stale? How has it moved over 15 minutes, 1 hour, and 24 hours?
  • Return projections — If you invest $X and the market resolves in your favor, what's the estimated return after fees and slippage?

Feature 1: Scan a Market

The core feature. Paste any Polymarket URL or market slug into the analyzer and get a full report in seconds.

How to use it:

  1. 1. Go to Scan a market in the sidebar
  2. 2. Paste a Polymarket URL (e.g. https://polymarket.com/event/fed-rates)
  3. 3. Click Scan
  4. 4. Review the report: risk score, liquidity grade, price trend, wallet signals, and more

The report tells you whether a market is liquid enough to trade, how risky it is, and what smart money is doing — all computed from live data, not opinions.

Feature 2: FYP (For Your Portfolio)

Don't know which market to look at? FYP scans the entire Polymarket universe and surfaces markets that pass data quality filters — helping you understand which markets have strong signals for further research.

How to use it:

  1. 1. Go to FYP in the sidebar
  2. 2. Enter a hypothetical budget ($10–$10,000)
  3. 3. Set a risk profile (conservative, moderate, aggressive)
  4. 4. Choose a time horizon (this week, this month, or any)
  5. 5. Click Scan markets

The scanner fetches 100+ active markets, applies quality gates (spread, depth, freshness), and scores each on execution quality, risk, momentum, and wallet signals. Results are educational — they help you understand market conditions, not tell you what to do.

Feature 3: Track Whale Wallets

The smartest traders on Polymarket manage millions in positions. Priyion lets you find them and track their moves.

Two ways to discover wallets:

  • Find Big Guys — After scanning a market, click this button to see the top holders for that specific market. See who has the biggest positions and on which side.
  • Top Gs — Browse the global leaderboard by profit or volume, filtered by category and time period. See who's making the most on Polymarket.

Click any wallet to see their full trading history — open positions, closed positions (wins and losses), realized PnL, and recent activity. One click adds them to your watchlist for ongoing monitoring.

Feature 4: Wallet Watchlist

Add any Polymarket wallet address to your watchlist. Every 2 hours, Priyion checks their positions and notifies you in-app if anything changes — new positions opened, existing ones closed, or significant size changes.

How to use it:

  1. 1. Go to Watch in the sidebar
  2. 2. Click Add wallet
  3. 3. Paste a Polymarket wallet address (0x...)
  4. 4. Optionally add a label (e.g. "whale trader", "politics expert")
  5. 5. Toggle notifications on or off

You'll get notified in-app (via the bell icon) when tracked wallets make moves — new positions, closed positions, or size changes.

Understanding the Risk Score

Every market report includes a risk score from 0 (lowest risk) to 100 (highest risk). It's computed from seven weighted components:

  • Liquidity (25%) — How deep is the order book? Can you get in and out without excessive slippage?
  • Spread (20%) — How wide is the bid-ask spread? Wider spreads mean higher trading costs.
  • Volatility (20%) — How much has the price moved in the last 24 hours? High volatility means more uncertainty.
  • Time to resolution (10%) — Markets resolving very soon or very far out carry different risk profiles.
  • Resolution ambiguity (10%) — Is the resolution criteria clear and unambiguous?
  • Holder concentration (10%) — Is one wallet holding a disproportionate share? That creates manipulation risk.
  • Data freshness (5%) — How recent is the data? Stale data means the score may not reflect current conditions.

Tips for Using Priyion Effectively

  • Start with FYP — Let the scanner surface interesting markets, then deep-dive into the ones you want to research further.
  • Check liquidity before size — A market might look interesting, but if the order book is thin, entry and exit costs will be high.
  • Follow the whales — Large, historically-profitable wallets often have information edges. Track them to understand market dynamics.
  • Use the risk score as a filter — Markets scoring above 60 carry elevated risk. Use this to calibrate your own research depth.
  • Check the audit trail — Every report shows exactly where the data came from and how fresh it is. If sources are degraded, treat the analysis with more caution.
  • Remember: this is research, not advice — Priyion helps you understand markets. Any decision to participate is yours alone.
